Björk's Video for "Family" Is A Moving Album Cover

A few days after the release of the video for “Lionsong,” Björk continues to support her recent album Vulnicura with surreal, eye-catching visuals. The latest Vulnicura cut to receive its own video is “Family,” though the song’s full length is cut to about two-minutes-and-thirty-seconds for the vignette. Directed by Andrew Thomas Huang, who previously worked with Björk on an equally-striking video for “Black Lake,” the cover art used for Vulnicura comes to life in the visual for “Family,” with Björk’s animated figured used as its nucleus and the foundation from which it is born.
