Longway and Young Thug have showcased a yin and yang chemistry before, with Longway serving as an equally-eccentric, more gritty counterpart to Thugger’s otherworldly, oddball experimenting. Their latest collaborations — the Offset-assisted “No Squares” and Jose Guapo-featuring “Ready” — are an evolution of the rapport established in 2013 with songs like “Loaded.” “Ready” is particularly familiar territory for both, with Jose Guapo and Dun Deal having worked several songs alongside both Longway and Thug in the past.
