Brainfeeder-affiliated producer Lapalux continues to release new music in support of his forthcoming sophomore album, Lustmore. Initially supported and introduced by a lead single entitled “Closure,” the LP’s promotional run continues today with the release of a second single dubbed “Don’t Mean A Thing.” The song was originally heard via label boss Flying Lotus’ BBC Radio 1 program, but hasn’t officially seen release until now. This new offering from Lapalux represents a sound different than the one showcased on the project’s first leak, hinting at a far more diverse palette of styles on Lustmore. Lapalux has certainly evolved from when he first linked up with Brainfeeder, and being pushed as one of the respected label’s best prospects is certainly adding to his credibility. You can check out “Don’t Mean A Thing” above. Lustmore will be out April 7.
