David Douglas featuring Lenka - Higher

Releasing the single last year, Dutch producer David Douglas has unveiled a revamped version of his single “Higher.” Lifted from his EP Moon Observations, Douglas pairs his strikingly escapist production with the rich vocals of CHEATERS member Lenka Boyd further layering a sense of moonlit wonderment as he claims his inspiration are from. Talking to FADAR he says “When I was writing new songs for my full-length album, I was reading the journals that [Scottish naturalist David Douglas] kept during his journeys through North America. He wrote about the splendor of the moon during his astronomical observations, and I realized that this celestial object has been observed since the dawn of mankind… Moon Observations is a musical ode to all moon observers in time.”
