Montreal-based rapper Wasiu is just 24 years old, but speaks with a wisdom well beyond his years on his new track “Stereo Type.” Produced by Grammy-nominated duo Nez & Rio, Wasiu uses his personal experiences as examples to illustrate racial injustices in the wake of current events. Wasiu details the conception of the track, commenting, “I played the beat, and I ran the events in my mind, and I matched it with the rage I was feeling from all of that sh*t.” Listen to the song below.
