Suge Knight Charged with Murder

Last week, the world was shocked to hear about Black Kapital Records CEO Suge Knight being involved in a fatal hit and run on the set of a promo shoot for the forthcoming Straight Outta Compton biopic. Today, Billboard reports that Suge has formally been charged with murder by Los Angeles County District Attorney Jackie Lacey following the death of hit and run victim Terry Carter. Knights is charged with one count of murder, one count of attempted murder and two counts of hit and run. If convicted, he could face life in state prison. Suge is currently being held without bail and is scheduled for an arraignment tomorrow at Los Angeles County Superior Court in Compton. The case is currently under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
