Slam Jam x PUMA 25th Anniversary Footwear Collection

After announcing a forthcoming collaboration with none other than Carhartt WIP, revered Italian outlet and retailer Slam Jam will also team up with PUMA as a part of its 25th anniversary celebrations. The joint project will consider both PUMA’s classic State silhouette and the vintage Trinomic XT2+ runner – both of which have been executed with Slam Jam’s signature black/white color scheme. The Trinomic XT2+ has been outfitted with ballistic nylon through the toebox and tongue, accented at the interior with plush pony hair and premium leather – a somewhat lavish, gaudy take on an otherwise function-focused silhouette. The State on the other hand has been minimally constructed with thin black leather throughout the two-piece upper, contrasted by an extra-clean white outsole. Look for both of these to drop at Slam Jam’s Milanese outpost on February 27 and expect a global release on March 14.
