Sigur Ros to Reissue 'Ágætis byrjun' in Deluxe Edition, Releases Teaser of Early Works

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Ros has surprised fans today by announcing they will release an expanded reissue of their 1999 LP Ágætis byrjun. Once placed in the top 200 albums of the 2000s, Ágætis byrjun will be released in a deluxe box edition that includes unreleased studio recordings, rare live cuts, photos and other documentary materials. The details are still being finalized but the band has anticipated a summer release for the reissue.
