Pen & Paper: Benjie Escobar

From the second you start watching this video, you learn that there’s no such thing as “down time” for graphic designer Benjie Escobar. He begins by noting he has a strong background in collaborative work with streetwear labels such as Benny Gold, The Hundreds and many more. He also participates in gallery work, produces fine art, works with a bunch of street-printed magazines, and he defines what he does by ambiguously stating, “I just do a little bit of everything.” Funnily enough, he has managed to achieve all of this success without any formal design training. Watch the video above to see that despite forever working in an infinite project loop, he still has plans to add to his already incredibly impressive portfolio of work by further evolving his artistic ability.
