Oh Land - Head Up High (Penguin Prison Remix)

For Penguin Prison‘s latest work he has taken on Danish artist Oh Land‘s “Head Up High.” Upping the ante on the electronic front, the New York producer has treated the uplifting single with a subtle touch of funk and groove. On the rendition, Oh Land commended the remix; “I love how he has changed the chords to give a completely different harmonic feel. It feels very ’80s and a bit disco.  I also love how changing the chords makes the melody sounds differ.” Take a listen above and watch out for Penguin Prison’s upcoming second studio album Lost In New York, which is set for a May 5 release via  Downtown Records.
