The team behind Californian workwear label Matix are often inspired by what they see and experience, traveling to Santa Babara’s Orchid Ranch to seek creative direction for last year’s offering. Now, for its 2015 spring lookbook titled “Secondhand Exposure,” creative inspiration stems from the concept of discovering something new in old places. An example offered by the brand is the metamorphosis of a cactus in the springtime, with the blooming of neon flowers on its surface allowing you to gaze at a site typically unseen. The collection sports an Americana aesthetic with graphic print T-shirts, short sleeve button ups and trucker caps.
