maharishi 2015 Spring/Summer New Arrivals

Since its inception in 1994, maharishi‘s focus has been the recycling of vintage military clothing from around the world and the creation of unique camouflage patterns. For Spring/Summer 2015, the British brand looked to the Middle East and retraced the footsteps of Alighiero Boetti — the Italian artist who became the first to take military camouflage cloth and present it in a gallery context. This season’s standout motif, accordingly, draws from Italy’s revolutionary Telo Mimetico pattern, which is seen throughout on a wide variety of military-inspired pieces, as well as artwork based on traditional Afghan hand-weaving. Standouts from the collection include the oversized Camo Thayer T-Shirt, elongated Afghan Weave Mid T-Shirt, breezy Coolmesh Mid Slouch T-Shirt and Prana Track Pants, while accessories like laptop and iPad cases are offered in seasonal disruptive patterns with bright orange linings. Functional, stylish and always progressive, maharishi’s Spring/Summer 2015 new arrivals are now at the HYPEBEAST Store.
