CyHi The Prynce sets his sights on the glorification of the street life for his latest release; a verse formally expected to land on Big Sean‘s recent LP. Originally intended to be on the album version of Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise standout “Deep,” CyHi’s verse didn’t make the cut due to being “too deep,” according to the GOOD Music rapper. The final version features Lil Wayne, who definitely didn’t come through with the approach CyHi takes on his version of the DJ Mustard-produced cut. With lines about life sentences, the realities of the street life, and trap rappers spitting fake lyrics, there’s definitely a lot to digest and think about here. Who would have thought someone could spit like this over Mustard production? You can check out CyHi The Prynce’s verse for “Deep” above.
