Drake Responds to Chris Brown's Recent Remarks

The recent tension between Drake and Chris Brown has been well-publicized, and just a few days after Chris Brown made some less-than-complimentary comments regarding Drake, the OVO rapper has responded. While out on tour overseas, Drake reworked some of the lyrics to “Energy” during a live performance to imply a retort towards the “Ayo” singer. While the original featured the lyrics, “I got rap n*ggas that I gotta act like I like / But my actin’ days are over, f*ck them n*ggas for life,” the lyrics included in the live version performed during Drake’s Auckland stop were changed to “R&B n*ggas.” Considering recent headlines made during Chris Brown and Tyga’s recent press tour, chances are pretty strong that line was Drake responding to recent comments made by Brown. However, don’t expect a major response by Brown via interview anytime soon. The singer sent out the following statement in a tweet on February 23:

I’ve given the world enough opinions. I’m not doing no more interviews unless it’s about my art or music. It’s nothing else anyone needs.
