Journal Standard has linked up with Converse‘s Japanese imprint this spring to introduce a unique take on the timeless Jack Purcell. Essentially a hybrid silhouette that couples a classic deck shoe with the Purcell’s own design cues, the footwear ditches the JP’s original rubber toecap and pairs a reworked upper with the tennis signature’s usual white rubber foxing, non-slip outsole and signature blue “smile.” Available in white, navy, and black and finished with contrasting white stitching and matching laces, the collaborative Jack Purcells will be available for ¥8,500 JPY (approximately $71 USD) per pair at style-cruise.jp and ZOZOTOWN beginning this Friday, February 27.
