Kaytranada Is Working with Rick Rubin

Hate it or love it, Kaytranada is going places. While he has been assigned to curate his own show for BBC Radio 1, the Montreal native is also currently working on his debut LP. On top of that, Kaytra has linked with true music royalty: Rick Rubin. One can only assume with what sound both minds will come out of the studio, but chances are that the result will be nothing less than game changing.

Rick Rubin’s contribution to not only hip-hop, but music in general, during the last four decades includes production for the likes of Beastie Boys, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Public Enemy, JAY Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and much more. Kaytranada’s debut LP is expected to come out later this year through XL Recordings.
