Kanye West Explains Why His First Show for adidas Originals Made His Daughter North Cry

After unveiling his inaugural collection in New York City yesterday (see the recap here), Kanye interviewed with a host of press and media outlets to share his thoughts on the show. When i-D magazine got its chance with Ye after the show, he revealed why his daughter North was spotted crying on Kim’s lap during the show, saying “Maybe she was just scared for her daddy. She just wanted people to stop being mean to her daddy. Because she knows that her daddy loves the world and just wants to make it a more beautiful place.” With that said, Yeezy’s show for adidas Originals allowed him to truly express himself in the realm of fashion for the first time, leaving noteworthy influencers and fans alike excited for what’s in store for Yeezy Season Two.
