Luxury retail is known for its extravagance, with over-the-top pieces that are undeniably glamorous. But even more glamorous are the labels’ flagship stores – stunning, glittering, mesmerizing landmarks that embody the brand ethos wholly. New in Seoul is the Givenchy flagship store, a whopping 400-square-meter space spread across three levels in the heart of shopping district Gangman-Gu. The building was designed by Milan-based architecture firm, Piuarch, in close collaboration with Givenchy art director, Ricardo Tisci. The building features a distinctive graphic façade, with a minimalist interior staying true to Givenchy’s aesthetic. The façade’s steel plates are made of electropolished steel — creating a variety of reflective effects finishes throughout the day, while satin brass emerges from the corner of the building in reference to the brand’s T-cut style. Check out the new flagship location, and let us know what you think about this new landmark in the Gangnam district.
