In following with its resurgence in this market, New York-based brand PONY has found a new home under the Iconix umbrella. The brand group, which also runs Zoo York and Starter, aims to promote distribution throughout North America – which means more stores in American locales large and small will soon carry PONY. Iconix will split the $37 million USD purchase with Anthony L&S Athletics (AL&S) in a 75:25 percent deal, with Iconix retaining the option to expand to global ownership subsequent to the deal.
