Better known for his brand WTAPS and “Placing things where they should be,” Director Tetsu Nishiyama has officially launched a new brand entitled DESCENDANT. Communicated via Japanese publication POPEYE, the new concept is a full line of clothing for men, women and children — aligning itself with the meaning of its’ name: “Passing down the generations through children’s observations of their parents.”

The sartorially inclined collection is presented as a selection of ready-to-wear casual pieces adorned with minimal emblems for an overall deconstructed appeal. Amongst the line, you can find everything from heavy-flannel shirting and coach jackets to denim wear and utilitarian-inspired workwear pieces.

Stay tuned to the brand’s website for further information or click here to read about more Tetsu Nishiyama projects.
