Ed Sheeran Covers O.T Genesis' CoCo

A familiar face on BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, Ed Sheeran performed two new song covers on the British radio show — Christina Aguilera‘s 2002 pop hit ”Dirrty,” followed by O.T Genesis‘ street anthem ”CoCo.” Sheeran’s rendition of CoCo is certainly the more unexpected of the two, featuring stripped acoustic guitar and lyric substitutions, effectively watering down the hard-hitting feel of the original version. Nonetheless, it is surely an ambitious effort on the part of Sheeran.
