Some go the safe, traditional route, others, like Ed Sheeran, go down a different, weirder path. Not only did the singer-songwriter cover Christina Aguilera and Redman, he also went for something a bit more grimy and gritty. Sheeran took O.T. Genasis‘ recent hit “CoCo” for an acoustic spin, making the song sound like something you never thought it could ever sound like. Considering Ed Sheeran was in the studio with The Game last year, maybe his choice of covering hip-hop isn’t too surprising, but the cover’s emotive, singer-songwriter feel definitely is.
