Spring is right around the corner and so is a mysterious new Apple event. Cupertino has just sent out invites to media channels to join them on March 9 for an event they’ve dubbed “Spring Forward.” The name is fitting not only because it’s scheduled one day after we set the clocks forward for spring, but also because Apple has kept many of the Apple Watch details under wraps following its grand reveal last September. The temporal nature of the name suggests “Spring Forward” could be when the public finally gets a more in-depth look at the Apple Watch and gets to see more of its new features in action. However the “Spring Forward” name could also be a red herring – with rumors of a new class-defining 12-inch MacBook Air swirling about and the MacBook Pro line well overdue for a refresh, don’t be surprised if come March 9th, a new watch isn’t the only thing up Tim Cook’s sleeve.
