Shazam Reveals Its Most Identified Artist of 2015

It’s been announced that the most Shazamed artist of 2015 is Diplo. The DJ-producer’s music has been identified over 40 million times by the music discovery app. We can see why: he’s had two of the biggest electronic music acts this year — Major Lazer and Jack U, and his music is very popular in clubs, festivals and dance floors (where it’s common to Shazam new songs). Diplo took to Facebook and shared: “I guess that means no one knows my music or who the eff I am since you had to Shazam me 40 million times. You could have just followed me on SoundCloud — it would save you some time. Also, pic is of me in 2008 when I was popping in shiny suits. But no seriously, thanks.” Congrats.
