Comparable to that of the iconic 1990s Air Zoom Flight “The Glove”, Kobe Bryant’s latest model, the Nike Kobe Icon in “Metallic Gold” features a similar shrouded construction and mimics many of the The Glove‘s design cues and fuses it with updated Nike technology. Constructed from a lightweight, breathable fabric upper, the design’s lacing system is inset and hidden beneath a midfoot zip closure with supportive heel and ankle countering. Featuring a Zoom Kobe VI tooling system and a seasonal, metallic gold upper, the latest Nike Kobe Zoom Icon is scheduled to release as early as January 15, 2016.
