Nendo x TAG Heuer "Carrera Time Machine"
An antique twist on a classic watch.

The classic Carrera timepiece from TAG Heuer has taken on a new life thanks to Japanese design firm Nendo. Known for its minimalistic aesthetic, Nendo kept most of the watch’s original form, only tweaking it by replacing the chronograph’s hands with a Baroque-inspired design in a red tinge. The slight detailing allows the timepiece to embrace both a contemporary and vintage look, allowing the stalwart Swiss-made construction to shine. The overall theme is also present in the clean packaging, which resembles an antique book and comes with a separate letter opener and book mirroring the aesthetic of the watch hands. Completing the presentation is the timepiece enclosed in an old-fashioned glass bottle with cork. Limited to just 250 pieces, the Carrera Time Machine can be found at retailers in Japan only.
