These Two Houston Rappers Might Just Blow Up
Rae Sremmurd meets Migos.
Today, while checking through for the latest music and music news, we came upon this music video of two relatively unknown but rising young rappers from Houston, Dice Soho and Trill Sammy. On some surface-level judgement, they kind of looked like elongated, light-skinned versions of Rae Sremmurd; their energy is even on par with that of the Mississippi duo. Musically, Soho and Sammy are basically second-generation disciples of the new Atlanta trap movement — you can tell that they’re heavily inspired by the sound that artists like Migos and PeeWee Longway have popularized (their flow in the chorus sound fairly similar to Sauce Walka’s “A Bag,” and they even do some next-level dabbing.) We get a feeling that these two will probably blow up soon. “Just Watch” it above and let us know if you agree.
