NYC-imprint Public School caps off a spectacular year with a preview of its forthcoming 2016 pre-fall collection in Dubai. Described as a “contrast between technology and nature,” Dao-Yi Chow and Maxwell Osborne continue to impress with an increasing amount of natural elements that have been incorporated across a range of long and layered silhouettes. Japanese Shibori print jackets and ethnic-inspired necklines have been mixed with sports tailoring, while two-tone mesh pieces and lighter outerwear pieces emblazoned with mesmerizing prints were also showcased. Public School’s unique and sometimes surprising interpretation of “high-end streetwear” has catapulted them to new heights during the recent years, and this latest collection shows Chow and Osborne have no intentions of slowing down.
