KUON 2016 Spring/Summer Lookbook
The Japanese label unveils its very first collection.

Debuting next year from designer Shinichiro Ishibashi is Japan’s latest entry into the realm of Americana: KUON. Incorporating authentic 50- to 150-year-old Japanese boro (old worn and used textiles and frayed, patched clothing) throughout, KUON — which means “eternity” — emphasizes the history and culture of vintage clothing, reinventing it to craft its own take on workwear as it looks to combine the stylish with the socially good. The result is a collection that includes everything from patchwork blazers, denim shirting, and distressed trousers to specially-made baseball-style jerseys, striped tees and more.
Look for KUON to debut at retailers in Tokyo, Osaka and Hong Kong early next year.
