J.J. Abrams & James Franco Are Adapting a Stephen King Novel for Hulu
Franco travels back in time to stop the assassination of JFK.
Next year, Hulu will be the exclusive home to a new eight-part miniseries from none other than J.J. Abrams. Based on the Stephen King novel of the same name, 11.22.63 stars James Franco as Jake Epping — a high school English teacher who travels back in time in an attempt to prevent the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Also starring the likes of Chris Cooper, Josh Duhamel, T.R. Knight, Cherry Jones, Sarah Gadon, Lucy Fry, George MacKay, and Daniel Webber and directed by the Academy Award-winning Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland, State of Play, Black Sea) with Abrams serving as an executive producer, 11.22.63 will premiere February 15, 2016.
