The Beyoncé collaborator drops his debut full-length.
Since collaborating with Beyoncé to great effect on her unexpected self-titled LP in 2013, Jordan Asher — better known as Boots — has kept busy, dropping a mixtape and EP, producing beats for both Run the Jewels 2 and the FKA Twigs EP M3LL155X; he even debuted a trailer for his post-apocolyatic film Motorcycle Jesus. Now Boots is back with his debut LP. Dubbed AQUARIA, the work stands in stark contrast to his previous work, mostly eschewing R&B and pop in favor of more experimental, electronic leanings — though super catchy, the LP has more in common with Radiohead than Queen Bey.
