Watch 'Swan Lake' Unfold in This 3D Projection Mapping on the Bolshoi Theater's Facade

You’ve never seen ballet like this before.

Ballet has traditionally been an art form that holds onto age-old conventions tightly, which makes this 3D projection mapping of Swan Lake on the facade of Moscow’s Bolshoi Theater all the more impressive. Created in memory of famous Russian ballerina Maya Plisetskaya for the 5th ”Circle of Light” Moscow International Festival, the projection modernizes the classic ballet with 3D motion effects and a remixed soundtrack, resulting in a spellbinding six-minute sequence that communicated the beauty of the artistic discipline to a public audience. Enjoy the show in the video above.
