In Chinese culture, the sheep is a symbol for justice, peace and harmony. But can good exist without evil? According to legend, there’s an evil sheep with a black head that appears every twelve years — referred to as the “ovis daemonicus.” With the demonic livestock in mind, 43einhalb presents the “Ovis” edition of the KangaROOS Coil-R2. Handmade in Germany, the premium kicks utilize Scandinavian leather, perforated Italian nubuck and German suede — all in a predominately white look with a black toe as a nod to the “ovis daemonicus.”
Limited to just 150 pairs, the “Ovis” edition of the Coil-R2 will be available in-store November 28 at 43einhalb’s pop-up in Fulda before dropping online later that evening.
