Suunto Traverse
Go explore.

Outdoorsy wristwear specialists Suunto have unveiled the ideal companion for your treks into the wild: the Traverse. Built with exploration in mind, the design allows wearers to plan their route via Movescount‘s topographic maps — which includes data for hiking, trekking and more — and stay on track thanks to GPS and GLONASS navigation. Altitude graphs even let users define their optimal ascent and descent — FusedAlti combines barometric pressure with satellite altitude — when planning. Perhaps beast of all, the watch keeps an automatic “breadcrumb trail” so steps can easily be re-traced if necessary.
Made in Finland and offering over 100 hours of battery life, the Traverse can be pre-ordered online now for $450 USD and is due out October 15 in amber, black, white and graphite colorways.
