Celebrating the 100th anniversary of historic Swiss stationary company Caran D’Ache is a range of collaborations. In for the fun, British designer Paul Smith recreated Caran D’Ache’s iconic 849 pen in ten different pastel colors. Introduced in 1969, the ballpoint pen features a hexagonal shape and is a result of industrial and ergonomic design principles of the era, making the pen beyond its time.
