After NWA released their Straight Outta Compton film, a lot of rappers have been following suit, wanting to have their stories told. Raekwon expressed his feelings about it, then DJ Premier and now comes Ja Rule‘s announcement that he and Irv Gotti are working on Biopic TV show based on Murder Inc.:

“It’s a great project, and we’re telling the Murda Inc. story in-depth…It’s going to be a drama series, and we got Paramount as a partner. It’s gotta be raw and uncut.”

Ja also touched on the possibilities of networks they would be on:

“We’re looking to be placed at one of the channels where we can act crazy like Showtime or HBO. It’s got to be raw and uncut.”
