Animal Collective - Michael, Remember
A 23-minute jam-epic.
Animal Collective have liberated a previously-unreleased number entitled “Michael, Remember.” The song is a 23-minute jam session billed as one cohesive piece, and was taken from a May practice by the band. The May session took place at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, North Carolina, and was said to be the first time in a year and a half that the revered act got together to work on new music. Animal Collective have released the track via a video containing July, 2014 footage from the Gulf of Mexico’s Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary.
