Y-3 2015 Spring/Summer "Surf Punk" Campaign
Following the unveiling of the seasonal footwear collection to start of the year, Yohji Yamamoto

Following the unveiling of the seasonal footwear collection to start of the year, Yohji Yamamoto pays tribute to the early days of surfing culture with a collection inspired by the surf-punk theme of escape, blended with contemporary athletic pieces that the brand has become renowned for. Shot by Kacper Kasprzyk, the latest range makes use of floral prints in reference to Hawaiian surf themes, while the gritty and hypersaturated colors evoke the punk nature imagery of the ’80s. A selection of more minimal garments more familiar to the brand’s admirers round out the collection. Check out the “Surf Punk” campaign video below and head over to your closest Y-3 retailer to purchase any pieces.
