As previously reported, rumors stemming from MediaTakeOut.com suggested that JAY Z was part of a consortium that’s in negotiations to purchase the legendary New York radio station. The good folks over at Hip-Hop Wired spoke with Emmis Communications, that owns Hot 97, to see if there were any truth to the story. Emmis press representative Kate Snedeker said, “That story is false.”
