In addition to its other offerings, Kinfolk also dabbles in bicycle frames for its urbane customer base. Seeking to create a lifelong tool, the brand turned to Osamu Fukuda as their chief frame designer. Fukuda is a third-generation Japanese  frame builder, tracing his experience beyond his own 35 years and to his grandfather – who served his community before the first World War.
