In celebration of the upcoming Chinese New Year, Converse recently unveiled its black and gold-accented iterations of the AEROJAM and Chuck Taylor All Star silhouettes. Originally released in the early ’90s as Larry Johnson’s signature shoe, the special rendition of the AEROJAM features 3D geometric-molded strapped overlays and a similar design placed at the heel. Gold detailing along the tongue and heel, which represent happiness and prosperity, really stand out with the tonal color treatment of the shoe.
