As one of the world’s oldest sneakers, the Chuck Taylor has seen its fair share of colorways and variations over the course of its lifetime. It has been no easy feat on behalf of Converse to reinterpret the classic that dates back to 1917. As the brand continues to capture a new audience, it maintains a clear approach to providing several options ranging from casual and utilitarian to more fashion-focused. This season will see the release of the Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70 “Woven Pattern.” A mix-matched woven pattern is combined with a ’70s Chuck Taylor including a higher rubber foxing along the sole, increased cushioning and a more substantial toe box. Look for these to drop at select Converse retailers this season.
