Where the “11” imprint may have thrived on the concrete catwalk, Boris Bidjan Saberi makes a return to the runway with his Fall/Winter 2015 collection. This time around, the designer drew inspiration from military silhouettes as well as traditional Bavarian tailoring, but perhaps most notably of all – the color wheel. Here we find Saberi imbuing his statement-heavy collection with a bold array of vermillion red, cool grey and deep black in an effort to modernize his men’s essentials. Hunting parkas, folding captain’s overcoats and asymmetrical workshop smocks are all wonderfully deconstructed, reinterpreted for the ‘urban soldier’ of today. A refreshingly unique departure for Saberi, enjoy this look at the designer’s latest in the photo set to the side.
