Set for a debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week is Lexus‘ upcoming 2016 GS-F. Essentially coupling a GS body with the drivetrain of the RC-F, the new design comes standard with Lexus’ electronic-controlled clutch and Torque Vectoring Differential — which optimizes torque to each of the vehicle’s rear wheels, regardless of acceleration — and weighs 4,034 lb while boasting a naturally-aspirated 5.0 liter V8 capable of 467 horsepower and 389 lb-ft of torque. Billed as a competitor for BMW‘s M5, the 2016 Lexus GS-F will be on display to attendees in the Motor City at some point between January 12 and January 25.
