Raury Performs Acoustic Rendition of Kanye West's "Blood on the Leaves"

While wrapping up an interview for Ebro In The Morning recently, artist-of-the-moment Raury decided to take out his acoustic guitar for a brief on-air performance. Though it may not exactly be out of place for a rapper to bust out a freestyle during a radio interview, a rapper busting out an acoustic guitar for a cover isn’t exactly a common move. For his performance, Raury chose Kanye West‘s “Blood On The Leaves,” a song with enough bombast to warrant a full band. Raury’s stripped-down acoustic take on “Blood On The Leaves” recalls less of the abrasive darkness engulfing Yeezus and more of the singer-songwriter stylings of the likes of artists such as John Mayer.
