PREMIERE: Keys N Krates - Understand Why

The second single from Keys N Krates’ forthcoming Every Nite EP, “Understand Why” combines loopy, pitched up ’90s house vocals, knocking rap drums, epic synths, big bass, and haunting voices to form a genre defying banger. The track elaborates on the Keys N Krates sound developed in tracks like “Treat Me Right” and “Dum Dee Dum,” which use morphed vocal samples and 808s to create tension-filled rap beats that are as anthemic as they are strange. In celebration of the Every Nite EP, Keys N Krates are embarking on a massive fall tour, co-headlining with Gladiator and with support from Thugli, that will take them across the expanse of North America.
