Lil B Now Has His Own App

In what is the most important news item you’ll read all day (right up there with anything related to Childish Gambino, Travis $cott, Kanye, Beyonce, or 10-second teaser clips of Nicki Minaj and Jennifer Lopez videos), Lil B has constructed and released his own app. The “Basedmoji” app is available for Apple/iPhone users, and will allow users to choose from a variety of Based emojis. For example, wanna tell someone to come over and hang out? The Based God has you covered: there’s a Basedmoji for that. Want to pledge your allegiance to the Based Mob via text? There’s a Basedmoji for that. Feeling “kool” or like a king? There’s a Basedmoji for that.

Along with the unveiling of the app comes a statement from the Based One himself. Lil B has announced that he “designed and developed” the app by himself, and “successfully submitted” it to the Apple hierarchy. Of course, this also falls under “real based” and “rare art,” straight from Lil B himself. And, would you expect any less? If he created all that is Based, amassed a huge discography, wrote a book and provided a template for legions of rappers after him, surely he can create an app. Let’s hope the Basedphone or Based Operating System is next.
