IWC Introduces New Portofino Midsize Watch Collection

A prime example of timeless, understated watch design for three decades now, the Portofino line has long been one of the more successful collections in IWC Schaffhausen’s family of timepieces. Constantly looking to its loyal customers for inspiration however, the revered Swiss watchmaker uncovered a need for a slightly smaller and more luxurious timepiece. Introducing the new Portofino midsize watch range. Consisting of the Portofino Midsize Automatic Moon Phase, the Portofino Midsize Automatic Day & Night and the Portofino Midsize Automatic, each wristwatch sports a sleek 37mm case with an array of customizable options. The flagship model for this collection, the Portofino Midsize Automatic Moon Phase depicts the entire moon phase against a star-studded night sky. And while the Day & Night rendition features a 24-hour day/night display, the Midsize Automatic keeps things classical with a simple date indicator. What’s more is that all three timepieces are set with plenty of shimmering diamonds, and complemented by an myriad of strap choices from Santoni, from alligator leather to Milanese mesh. IWC’s Portofino Midsize Watch Collection will be available at select retailers around the globe this fall.
