Watch the Trailer for the Nas Documentary, 'Time Is Illmatic'

Though Nas has slowed down a bit on the promotional run for the 20th anniversary of Illmatic and all its accompanying happenings, this trailer for the upcoming Nas documentary, Time Is Illmatic, should bring things back up to speed. The film, which will begin airing at select theaters and the Tribeca Film Festival on October 1, will run 74 minutes, and feature a “who’s who” of collaborators, peers and producers. The trailer treats viewers to a short glimpse into what the One9-directed flick will bring and provides a brisk retrospective of the legendary lyricist’s beginnings.
