Alexander McQueen‘s subsidiary label McQ by Alexander McQueen recently teamed up with Japanese cartoonist Yoshiyasu Tamura to create a collection for 2014 fall/winter. With manga art at its core, the comprehensive line aimed at both men and women consists of T-shirts, zip-up track tops, sweaters, and denim jeans and jackets, alongside a luggage and footwear range — think bags, totes and chukkas. Upheld by a youthful sensibility, the collection is crafted via monochromatic color schemes and aptly blends Tamura’s iconic artwork with McQueen’s ready-to-wear designs. Stay tuned for more on the collection, set to drop next season.
